ok swapped some usb ports around and now its back but cubase and youtube still dont run simultaneouly. Just yt is stuck loading or i cant hear anything im playing in cubase

Are you looking for multi-client ASIO support? That's certainly possible. Every generation of Scarlett, from the original,1st Gen to the current 4th Gen, actually uses the same driver on Windows. All of our Windows USB and Thunderbolt/PCIe drivers are the same across all devices, meaning that 1st Gen Scarlett users are still getting the benefit of driver updates now, over a decade since we released that range 👍

idk what any of those words mean but im just trying to get cubase and youtube running so i can hear both at the same time
