Ah gotcha. I guess I'm just too impatientAiynzahev wrote:Same here, they don't immediately show up, but I also don't think you have to rescan, you just have to give it some time, but re-scanning makes them come up immediately.soundpalace wrote:
It's pretty good actually, especially once you add some key commands for bringing up the preset browser. My only problem with Mediabay is that for some straaaannngggee reason, saving a new preset doesn't automatically show up when you go to load a preset. You may manually rescan your disks to have new presets detected. I will try to re-install Cubase at some point to see if that helps, but so far this has been my experience

Getting no sound on the download. I've got an AMD Quadcore. I've tryed different filters, oscillators, bypassing, modes... no sound but a noise burst (demo limits) every 20-30 seconds.
I've tryed with it Chainer ...and Studio One.
It sounds pretty good in Studio ONe.
Then, it doesn´t sounds with Chainer.
While using on Studio One I've got come graphic glitches changing patches. Not a big problem since they disappear when I move the interface. Most of the times they appear in the Oscillator type selectors.

Why no mention of reduced cpu use? The vid you posted below shows about half the cpu being used of the previous version. This seems like the most newsworthy thing to me.
Has anyone tested?

Aha, you're right. Bad observation on my part. 1.1 not until summer? d'oh!chk071 wrote:Looks like v1.1.0 in the video. The one posted above is v1.0.10.

Been playing with it all day. I luv it actually. They are doing a very good job on this. As far as cpu usage. I don't think it's much different than 1.9... which was good enough for me. I think more optimization is on the way in the future but I think it's pretty good right now. It's hard to get competitive sound quality out of lesser cpu cycles man. Guys like N.I. are going to have to start upping their oversampling to keep up. Start saving for a new cpu now.
What is fantastic about this kit is that it isn't just a club trance cracker toy. I luv the timbres that I can get out of this thing. They are putting it together really well. It encourages you to make your own patches and learn how to play the thing. My only problem I have with it currently is the hardwiring of envelope one to the amps. I think that was bad decision. It's O.K. once you learn how to use it, but it can be confusing and comes across as a spontaneous decision that was made in error. Something that the DEV decided he would like on the fly, but it's too late to rip it out now i guess.
