I love music, worked with a number of music/rhythm/dance games like Pump It Up, In The Groove, Cytus and Deemo, and teach music production.

Hey NielzieNielzie wrote:I read and am a fan of your How To Make a Noise and Synthesizer Wizard books. Any plans to do a new book based on VA and modular synths?
I'm glad to hear you like my books.
At present, I cover VA and modular in two books:
* virtual analog (indeed, all aspects of analog synthesis) is covered in How to Make a Noise: Analog Synthesis http://noisesculpture.com/analog
* modular synths are covered in Becoming a Synthesizer Wizard: From Presets to Power User http://noisesculpture.com/synthwiz
At present I have no plans to expand upon what is already published in these two (and my other) books. However, I'm always interested to hear what gaps you feel there are in the existing books and what areas you want covered. I can't guarantee that I'll write a book about it, but I can guarantee that I do consider every idea that is put to me.

What I'd really like to read more about is more detailed examples and explanations of Synth Edith. You covered some of that in the Synthesizer Wizard book, but it would be very interesting for me to go a little deeper in such material.
I'm having quite a hard time finding any good, easy explained tutorials (with example projects) for SE unfortunately.

How do I download it to my desktop so I can take it to my other computer? It uses Kindle and I don't have much use for the book on my internet computer. I want to put it on my lap top and my dedicated music computer.

It's pretty straightforward:
* Go to http://noisesculpture.com/comprehensive
* Click on the link that says "Click here to download the free electronic version of How to Make a Noise: a Comprehensive Guide to Synthesizer Programming"
* Insert your name and email address in the pop-up, taking care to make sure your email address is correct
* Click on the button "request download link"
* You will get an email with a link
* Click on that link and download that file (which is a zip file)
* The book is a PDF contained within the zip file
You can then copy the PDF to any suitable reading device (or devices).
Hope that helps.
All the best
