I'm really loving this synth. But i could use a little help tough, anyone have good links to share to VCS3 manuals/tutorials for programming? I've been Googling without results.
Thanks in advance, and thanks again for this great freebie!

thank you very much to all people involved in this project, this synth really rocks... i don't know if it sounds like the original hardware, but sounds much more better than all others free clones, and it's even much more user friendly and good looking (imho), such a fun toy to play with
I definetly must try all your other synths

Of course you must, and all of you, synth junkies... Xavier's work is great and very underrated, indeed... Try also KX-Omni (a unique sound) and KX-Modulad (a complex beast made for "connaisseurs")...I definetly must try all your other synths

'Vintage lead', the default preset? That's one of the beefiest, meatiest, default sounds I've heard on any recent VSTis, free or otherwise. Thanks for sharing this fine work!

Nice job on this synth, i only played with it for a few minutes but it seems cool. I've no idea about the VCS3, but this one is different enough to the rest of my VSTs to warrant a place in my favourites folder.
Of course, what would be even better is if Mr Solida were to make us up a bank of presets aswell.

This synth was easier to figure out than i initially tought. Take a couple hours and play around, you'll figure it out, basic knowledge of synthesis is sufficient.
I'm going to try to release a small demosong (a version of a François De Roubaix song, a French composer who used a VCS3 too in the late 60's, mid 70's) along with 32 patches for this beautiful synth. Most will be "musical" instead of experimental.
Here's a small snippet of a François Roubaix documentary, the background music, i presume, is done with a VCS3 and sounds hauntingly beautiful, you can also see him messing around with his VCS3 at some point:

hi,
I found this link in Music Cafe forum:
http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=235053
There is a recording (33 min) with one kx-synth-x16 by Dover666.
You will listen deep delay and filter FX.

Just noticed the date: Kx-Synth-x16 is seven years old today!
Was playing around with the v1.04 (initial release) only the other day: not saying the v5.0 doesn't blow it out of the water - but I can't think of anything else that comes remotely close to capturing the real character of the early Synthis.
Can hardly wait to hear what the next seven years bring!

None of the really dumb people I knew when I was young are young any more.
