Hope to god it is not an iPhone/iPad App...

Bet it is some type of hardware integration. With midi/cv/audio ins and outs. They do have a trademark sitting around for "ReRack"

Sounds like an impulse-based reverb / effects rack item to me.

But an ipad app would be nifty too.

I'm so sure of my (2nd) guess now that it feels like a spoiler, so I'm shortening it to this:

Reason Farm 2.

My 3rd and final guess is that, in addition to making Reason 2.5 an iPad app, a new 'Angry Birds' rack module will be unveiled in Reason 7.

That is *SO* going to rock!

Aha..they finally licensed Zebra and Diva so synthesis is covered in Reason. Oh and they finally licensed Lexicon and Relab reverbs so they are done in reverbation...OH they finally licensed some UAD stuff so they are done in...Oh....Oh...

Plugin hosting Container

New SDK for creating Reason plugins to be used in the new container units

Post

An iPad app is certainly the "thing"

An iOS reason perhaps or a remote app

Imo the best thing they can release now is a sort of "90 % without mouse" hardware controler with midi / CV outputs to control hardware synth ( even the oldest without midi),

After "balance" audio interface it seems a logical move
