Hearing all the reggae influence kinda got the Jah juices flowing :). NOT A SUBMISSION, just having fun with Thorn.

Just a touch of EQ and a tickle of compression

Unfortunately it looks like I won't have time to take part this month, I've had other projects eating my time and I'm moving this Friday... which is really ironic, since Thorn has been by far the most inspiring synth the OSC has had in the four months I've taken part :D Oh well, at least I netted a good demo of Thorn which made me decide to buy it. :)

No time either !
Have fun :tu: :tu: :tu:
I'll listen, not sure I can vote this time :phones:

Great piece - especially I enjoyed the tasty effects/ reverbs, e.g. left channel drum ambience, very balanced entity. :tu:

sqigls - submission for the November 2017 KVR One Synth Challenge

25 instances of Dmitry Sches' software synthesiser THORN. Nothing else, except 1 x TDR Kotelnikov and 1 x George Yohng W1 Limiter on the master buss, just to bring the level up a bit.

Could use a lot of work, but unfortunately i might not have the time to complete this track idea before the end of the month.

Thanks for listening! :)

+1 to that. Really epic sound, great mixing (as always), super detail in the track.

Nice to see you back J with an entry, much liked by me! Percussion is awesome - I really like the kick, well crafted and full bodied - a great driver for the track.

I can afford to chose with which track to take part with...fun...or may be not at all.

Thank you. This was done in a few hours after working for weeks on my actual submission track. My mixes tend to be mid-rangy, so I am working on higher highs and lower lows. I think I may drag some of these sounds into the other track. With some work, the Thornpets may make a pretty cool horn section...or not :)

Wow nice songs so far. Damn, did not manage to make a song this round, only a basic beginning  So see you next round.
