No idea who is actually singing the song, but here's some googlebits I've found:
Song, possibly called "Don't Pick Me Up," appears to be written by Heather Grody, who used to be in a band called the Murmurs, and who is now in an unrecorded band called Gush. She's apparently a semi-famous lesbian. Quite sadly, her mother also appears to have been horribly murdered some time ago. Jorja Fox from CSI was her high school friend.
Also in the Murmurs, and now in Gush, was Leisha Hailey, another semi-famous lesbian, who once dated kd lang, and is now an actor on "The L Word."
The song does not seem to exist outside of a stock publishing library. It's filed under the label "Rock Candy" by a publishing house called KPM. The catalog number is KPM-572.
The words are more than likely:

- Do you believe in serendipity
Do you avoid all the obvious
We met before you don't remember me
Are you the kind that breaks all your promises?
I'm sure you hear that you're sexy all the time
But tonight the pleasure is all mine
To finally be with you
Maybe I'm wrong
Maybe I'm right
Bet you never thought I could be your type
When the lights go out and the radio's on
And the sheet between us don't belong
When the rest of the world is looking in
It's hard to notice anything
Don't pick me up if you're only gonna put me down
Do you believe you're really over me
Are you in love with someone else
Along the way we lost the mystery,
or have you lost too much of yourself?
I'm sure there must be something we can do
I'm not giving up on you
Not so fast.
Maybe I'm wrong?
Don't pick me up if you're only gonna put me down
