standalones inside a host ?

there are alot of (old) standalone-only-synths
on the market, which normally have to be
integrated through virtual midi cables or rewire.

does exist any plugin to encapsulate them
for easier handling inside (modular)sequencers
like eXT ?

if yes, which one ?

if not, do you have any tips for
elegant integration / binding
to a sequencer ?
