All right-- question coming from a semi-newbee, not very tech-deep guy.
I've got some tune's I'd like to post, but not sure how to go about it. I can get things in MP3 form. Then what?? Do I need to have them on the web somehow (I don't have a myspace or anything like that)??
Thanks for you help--

Ben,
I have named your KVR tracker bot 'Automutron'. He apparently hates apostrophes, commas, and other indicators of good grammar in song/file titles.

My track showed up in the tracker as only being 1 byte big. It's not, several people downloaded it. What can I change?
my post:
http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=199799
my mp3 link:
http://djastro.com/audio/Andrew_Ford__l ... 5-2007.mp3
No look, one of vurt's is doing it too:
http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=200025
http://www.aqoy47.dsl.pipex.com/myweb10 ... ster...mp3
Maybe it's the multiple '.'?
Nope just posted another on with only one '.', still just 1 bytes

http://djastro.com/audio/Andrew_Ford__blueberry.mp3
Is it just the underscores?

little suggestion. Some sort of rating system. I'd love an option to just be able to download "the best of music cafe". Or is that against the whole idea? :s
maybe not a "rating system" but if people like a track then they can give kudos points so there's not a "out of 5" type system.

Great idea. Thanks so much, Ben.
Would it be possible to put a button on the player to open (in a new window) the thread where the currently playing song originates from?
That would kick ass, no?
It would make it a lot easier to find the song and leave comments to the author. Thanks again.

Just type Ctrl+(or Appple)F and type part of the song title in and hit return. The whole page of songs is on the same page as the tracker and has direct links to the original thread. Hope that helps.Eric Bourne wrote:Great idea. Thanks so much, Ben.

Um, all that'd do is make a rather weird list of progressive house, frying pan tracks & bluedad leaving out everything with guitars, rapping, orchestral works...thesimulatedcity wrote:little suggestion. Because they are memorably good and not of the above categories.bluedad wrote:hmm, I post on average two tracks a year, and you single me out?runagate wrote:

I think you represent the only consensus KVRian could agree on.

In that case, I took it the wrong way. My apologies and thanks.runagate wrote:

Hi every one in here !
This Tracker is a very good idea indeed.
Thank you so much.
What I'd like is to play the files without any open browser frame.
So I downloaded http://www.kvraudio.com/music/kvr_music.pls file but it doesn't run in Winamp
But, when renamed to kvr_music.m3u, everything's fine !
Could any one explain why pls is not pls format or if Winamp is not pls compliant ?
Thanks a lot
Best wishes to any one who love music !
Regards from France,
Arthur.
