Welcome to KVR, ¿, what a great first post.

Don't worry - after you've made 10 posts here then your url links will look right.

Thanks :)

Zebra2 does microtuning, as do all the Logic instruments. Can't say I've ever had the urge to play with microtuning though...

Modular - Plogue Bidule
Sorry, scratch that, I was thinking of something else (half asleep).

Thanks a lot

This is something coming at the best moment because i'm supposed to prepare a cooperation project ( dedicated to musical productions in a town of western africa ) ...in there i take care to find musical compatbility for traditionnal musicians from the area...

i think you can add Virsyn Cube ( Tera ?), Cakewalk Dimension Pro , NI fm7 and pro-53, probably Absynth too...

... et caetera, but i can't type it down in detail yet, sorry !

NI's new FM8 does microtuning, but I'm not sure exactly how. I just remember seeing it in the manual yesterday.

There was a version of Richman2 with various scales as well as some nice little tuning pegs, but it took more CPU than was really worth it and was met with a wave of apathy so I dropped it.

Relatively new, not yet in the KVR database, but interesting and working well:
Sample (soundfont) based
http://www.omringen.com: Oblivion / Tamboura / Cirkel Sol .tun

Synth
foorius uses .tun, but doesn't save the chosen tuning with the patch or bank

Synth (additive + subtractive)
ZynAddSubFx .scl + own tuning definition capability
Have a look at its KVR Forum

(This is my firt post too - hope it is useful.)

I'm told with emu emulator/proteus x, you can fine tune each note in the voice editor. This is disabled in the 'lite' versions of proteus x that come with the emu keyboards though.

I think sytrus has a similar thing?

Post

I also believe plogue bidule as a host can use the vst api to detune any note +/- 50 cents with its bidules, or any vsti that supports it, but I think only z3ta does, lol.

modartt - pianoteq - .scl

Spectrasonics - Omnisphere - "Alternate tuning scales supported" - n/a
