The auto VST sampling function of DirectWave is wonderful. But is there any way to convert the exported data to soundfont? The naming conventions of the WAVs don't appear to be intuitive...

How about SFZ? It's easier to implement than a SF2 writer and it wont need to convert samples to 16-bit. (sampled VST's is 32-bit float sampledata).

Well, SF2 is a little more universal, but SFZ would be cool too.

Also, it would be nice to let the folks at ChickenSys/ExtremeSampleConverter know the Directwave format description so people could convert their stuff to Directwave natively. Might also open the way for more 3rd-party sample producers to create Directwave presets.
