Ok..been doing some experiments here. vurt might recognize what one of the apps i'm using , but not the rest

uses a good amount of algo apps, lets see:

Audio Mulch
Tunesmith ( with tunesmith waves processed with audiomulch)
Diablo

Softsynths:
Cameleon 5000

Eve2 ( not out yet:-)

EMS Synthi VS3 clone ( the bubbles)

With Bisceglia Guitar and Fender musicmaster bass
Muse Research Receptor for Guitar and bass processing

You can really hear audiomulch in there. I processed a bunch of waves
done with tunesmith ( steem playing softsynths in EnergyXT)

really liked working with algorithmics again. All the atari apps were
run in steem, and played softsynths and recorded performaces as
indevidual waves.

Used Tracktion to assemble everything.Then played Guitars live into
the track.

but vurt should know AudioMulch..now thats a cool app.

i tried it way back in beta stage and really wish id got in on it earlier. however its on my list

very cool track, again i wonder where the cds with your name are...???

Keykit?!? I didn't know anybody was still using that ... wow. Isn't it ancient by now?

Really beautiful weaving textures. Maybe it gets a bit too nice sometimes (nah - it's just me).

The constant evolvement is balm to sore ears. Very nice piece to end the day on!

well...its still being updated, but yeah...it goes way back. heres a story: I was looking for algo apps on the net, and came across KeyKit

I emailed the guy and it turned out he was local to me. We had lunch, and have been freinds ever since. He is Tim Thompson. Great keyboardist too..he knows his chops, but also does a lot of experimental electronics. His latest thing is live video work that uses audio and midi as inputs along with live web cam processing. Check out his home page.

But KeyKit is very cool with lots of different tools. You use MIDI Yoke to get 'em to play your softsynths.( just like when you use Steem) I did a review of it on PA. But it's free..so try it!

Even though at times I feel the digital sound making it a tad unrealistic; this is another superbly worked out tune. I do think the guitar may have a bit more prominent place in your work though.

Which reminds me of a Manchester meet last year where Patrick9 brought a midi guitar. I think it would be a perfect tool for you. I was rather amazed the responsiveness and subtlety of the instruments translation in playing midi notes. In your hands it'll likely be killer

And I will stand with vurt as well; why not start thinking about putting together a CD

yeah..you and vurt are right. I got lots of tunes!! and I have a MIDI guitar, although its the casio DG20, but I find it excellent ( although you can't pitch bend, but it tracks well)

RE: digital sound..I guess thats the audio mulch part..I guess I invented this piece to put in those audiomulches!! Contraptions used:lets see: LoopPlayer to load the tunesmith ( or whatever)
waves.Nebulizer, south pole, Grainulator,and CamelSpace.

Nice fusion going there. Sorta reminded me of a cross between The Orb and Future Sound of London.

hey..matter of fact, one of the sequences that I was able to generate in Tunesmith reminded me of that orb disc that Steve Hillage played on..sounds very much like it, ( its in the middle part somewhere)but was really unintentonal.

Excellent track!

It started off reminding me of Ashra and then went somewhere else altogether. Great production as well, crystal clear. A keeper here, for sure.
