Excellent piece of music... not mechanical, good spacing and sound design... one of my favorites I've heard on KVRmarks-a-whybikky wrote:Here comes another track i made for the KVR One Synth Challenge.

"I'm calling Bell" [by p_o_lr] is made in Ableton Live 9 with Zebra2 delivering 6 tracks, ranging from Bass to pads and the arps (Lupins ) that form the foundation of the track. The rest is delivered by 2 Waldorf HW synths and a variety of other VST plugins.
Please give it a go here: https://soundcloud.com/p_o_lr/im-calling-bell

https://blend.io/almazmusic/zebra2-project - here is my submission to blend zebra2 contest. All made by myself from scratch on demo version of zebra2 (except for drums, crashes and piano). Hope someone will like it.

I posted 2 songs in my music website; the one on top: "How It All Came To This" would most likely interest you the most since it has some ZebraHZ synth. Also, I have Presswerk compression on the drums, vocals, and the entire mix. Here is my link:

I put 2 songs in my music website: "Please Pretty Please" (has Zebra HZ, Diva, and Presswerk compression on the drums & vocals, and the entire mix) is the song on top, and "Black & White" (it was played on the Radio BBC by DJ Tom Robinson: whose song "2-4-6-8 Motorway" had lots of play on MTV and/or VH1 in the 80's, and has collaborated with Elton John, Brian May of Queen, and Peter Gabriel) is the next song down (no u-he on that song). Please tell me how you like the music and how it can be improved, and I promise to return the favor. Here is my link:

Enjoyed all three of your tracks! But they seem to be more about guitar playing than the synths.aaron aardvark wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 5:18 am I put 2 songs in my music website: "Please Pretty Please" (has Zebra HZ, Diva, and Presswerk compression on the drums & vocals, and the entire mix) is the song on top, and "Black & White" (it was played on the Radio BBC by DJ Tom Robinson: whose song "2-4-6-8 Motorway" had lots of play on MTV and/or VH1 in the 80's, and has collaborated with Elton John, Brian May of Queen, and Peter Gabriel) is the next song down (no u-he on that song). v1o,
Thank you for listening and commenting, I appreciate it! If you were also commenting on "How It All Came To This", that song uses ZebraHZ and some Presswerk compression on vocals & drums, and the entire mix. Conversely, on other forums, people sometimes tell me they want to hear me playing less synths and more guitar. If you have any music you want me to review, leave me a link.
