Sock puppets at gersic.com?

Just noticed that the MDrummer software from this thread: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=209955 has been listed on gersic.com and almost immediately got 6 digs.
I smell some more sock puppetry. Maybe I'm wrong, but it takes a really great piece of software (which this is not) to start building up that many digs when it's the most recently posted VST.
This guy just doesn't give up!

Agreed. I'd expect dirty tricks like this "poisoning" would more likely be applied against threatening competitors -- makers of products that got positive responses from those trying them out, and which posed a risk of cutting into an established or anticipated sphere of business.
