It's pretty cool. I've spent some time with it and had a lot of fun but I haven't used it in a track yet. It has the ability to sample and process live audio which is really cool. The thing I like the best is the fact that for what I wnt it to do, I don't have to touch PT's midi editor.

It certainly looks like they are jumping on the ableton bandwagon IMO ...... but it also LOOKS like they are doing a pretty decent job of it in the process.
Hip Hop and other loop based genres have HUGE respect (real or perceived) for digidesign and it seems digi have finally woken up to this fact and have ceased designing their products exclusively for dyed in the wool tape fanatics ..... for good or bad.
having said that, i dont use digi or rtas so i probably wont hear it for some time ...... wonder if it actually sounds any good.

Hmm..you'd think they would've made more interesting drum loops for the audio previews.
looks great though.
Doesn't matter to me however....Nuendo, FLStudio, and PC over here...no RTAS for me.
Peace

It is pretty good, used it a bit. Street price should be $249 I have heard, which is cheap.

I've been playing with it too and although it's not really right for my style of music, I have to admit it's a boatload of fun, wickedly easy to use and I'm sure hoping I can find a real use for it.
It's perfect for producers of more modern styles.
