the miniKP is an effects processor. the KO is a synth.
my other modular synth is a bugbrand

There is nothing more to compare. You gotta read more attentively.. To be even clearer: Kaossilator has no inputs, you can't process external sounds with it, effects are only applied on the synth's sound. The mini KP is for processing external sounds and has no synth.

actually, it has about ten synth patches, but they're fairly naff sounds, except for the noise, IMO, and almost impossible to 'play' meaningfully (ie it has none of the scale/arp/loop functions of the KO).Shy wrote:The mini KP is for processing external sounds and has no synth.
