I am writing to see if anyone is interested in long distance collaboration - through the joys of internet, dedication and the postal service I have found that this can work!
I do not have a specific genre or sound I am looking to do - instead I'll give a list of music that I love, which hopefully will give you an idea of what I'm looking towards;
- Wilco, LCD Soundsystem, Steve Reich, EL-P, Einsturzende Neubauten, Sonic Youth, Radian, Deerhunter, Tim Hecker, Low, Massive Attack, Fennesz, High Dependency Unit, Mercury Rev (in particular their earlier work), Godspeed You Black Emperor, Grandaddy, Suicide, The For Carnation, The Necks, Mogwai, Radiohead, anything off the Kranky/Constellation/Important label etc....
A little about me - I am based in Melbourne, Australia, but relocating to Toronto Canada in a few months. In my signature there are four projects listed of which I produce/am part of, so feel free to give them a listen - they will give you an idea of where I am coming from.
