They've called one of their new plugins Mo-verb despite the existence of one by Rhythm Labs which is called Mo'Verb (as per http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=3662021) and called another De-verb, despite the existence of Audio Damage's plugin Deverb.
At least Steinberg had the grace to negotiate with AD over the name 'Reverence.'

Next up 'Omni-sphere' and 'Re-aktor' ??

We knew this would happen some day. All the possible names for plug-ins have been used, so a little name theft is necessary.

The lawyers looking for work these days might be interested in copyright infringement cases for a piece of the settlement.

After reading the Gearslutz thread, I'll bet SPL won't be changing the names of their plug-ins. Talk about pot-kettle-black.

SPL says 'all your plugin names are belong to us'
