Try stacked heavily detuned supersaws (mono/unison) with a bit of glide/portamento, bandpass filter at about 70%. EQ a notch out at about 800-1khz - it sounds like a lot of middle is missing. A touch of distortion would help.ErichFranz wrote:How would I make the synth in Punk by Ferry Corsten?

It's extremely compressed/sidechained in the track... not sure you'll get that breathing/pumping without it.
With the portamento, it's sometimes worth experimenting with adding short low inaudible ghost notes (between your real notes) so you can get the 'rip' up to a note exactly where you want it. There's some in the track that seem to pop out more than others, but again this could be down to the compression.
There might be a touch of fast vibrato on one of the oscillators, or it could just be an artifact of the detuning... depends on the synth... What synth will you use?
