A brand new skin for Luigi's wonderful Modelonia synthesizer

I tried to keep the layout from the original skin as much as I could.
Note that the size of this skin is larger than the default and the plugin needs to be restarted for this to work properly. Closing and reopening the gui just won't do it I'm afraid

Wow, simply, WOW! I love this type of colour scheme. Clear sections with rich and pleasant to the eye colours. I don't own Modelonia (yet), but this skin makes me want to buy it asap, and spend some time with it.

I would love to see something similar done for Alchemy .

Great work! Just checking out the screenshots, I get a very favorable impression as far as usability goes. Nothing wrong with the original skin but your design definitely makes some improvements.

unfortunately i get an error message every time i open to GUI - param_quality - and the preset browser does not work. even when i switch presets via my host's preset browser, the new preset name does not show up on the Modelonia GUI.

all the other skins that came with the plug work just fine

if you know what the problem might be and it can be fixed, that would be fantastic. i would certainly use this GUI!

Oh, that's a shame. In anycase, this Modelonia skin is a beauty.

Hmm, I can't find anything about this in the skin's xml code but I'll look further.

Which version are you using and are you on a Mac?
It's working without flaws for me on Pc and version 1.706.

Beautiful work here, thanks for the new skin! I also think it reflects the sound of Modelonia very well.

Btw, I also get the error, although the preset browser works fine. I'm using 1.202, though - that might have something to do with it.

I'm amazed you don't have it, being a noted wiz of Tassman. You'll like it, I'm sure. Luigi has produced a number of tremendous simulations of 'real' instruments, but Modelonia is the bomb for hybrids...

When Modelonia came out I was overloaded with projects (music not sound design) that it has slipped by. I also thought that I had lots of PM synths to explore, but this is so original that it warrants a place in my collection.

Ok, I've looked everywhere and even talked to Luigi about this 'param_quality' issue and the answer is that there is no 'param_quality' at all!

I suggest you try to update to the newest version, all updates are free up to 1.9.
Note that the newer version can sound a bit different so keep the older version for sound compability.

This skin will probably not work as it should with older versions.

Edit: version 1.9 is not available, I only meant that all updates until that point is free.
