Looney Buns: Soda Pop
Again I pursue the commercial vibe, lyrics are, however, still on the same level, but at least there's no picture this time.
lyrics and flac link on my blog
instrumentarium: g200kg SpectroBits, synekDC, Cakewalk TTS1 + Flying Haggis, HahahaDS01, Kontakt with Kirk Hunter trombones

Very original and inspired. I like the vocal gait a lot.
This is like the journey of a tadpole in a big dark swamp.
A class A production, well done
Cheers

I know, but that is what the chorus feels like to me.Zombie Queen wrote:I didn't quite mean to comment on "pop music"...

Yeah, it seems I accidentally made a satire on bland pop muzak. Big cheers for the comments.

wild and delightfully confusing. dig that opening sound, like distorted elephants.
very cool separation of mixed sounds with voice dry and up front.
thats the most interesting thing, lyrics had me very excited, lol.
cool stuff

soda indeed ... effervescent beginning: then these well known zombionic sceptical ubus ... the instrumental part kicks ass!

Nice mood and I like the sounds and the melody, for my taste I'd liked the vocals mixed a bit more down in the mix, so that the instruments would stand a bit more: maybe it's not a matter of pure volume, it's the smaller high frequency range and the reverb which brings the instruments behind.
