which one to get:novation rmt 49SL compact or rmt 37SL?

hi guys!
i am in doubt.rmt 49SL compact is priced 200e and rmt 37SL 250e.
i like the xy pad on 37SL and lot more butons,sliders,knobs but its more expensive and has 3 octaves
49SL is a newer and cheaper one but doesnt have xypad and much fewer knobs and sliders but has 4 octaves
both come with ableton live which i plan to upgrade for free to intro.i mostly use hardware synths
whats your experience,will they work equally well with ableton intro 8?
which one would you get?
i cant make up my mind

I'd go for the 37SL. The extra controls are worth it and if at the end of the day you have to plug a casio in via midi to control channel 2 then so be it.

For me, 3 octaves would not be enough. It's fine for putting down simple melodies and a few chords, but I need something with 4+ octaves. It all depends on your playing style and genre.
