Hi
I made nice kontakt library(over 1000 samples, E. guitar, not free)
but how to release it? perhaps there is license problem with Kontakt(NI) right?
Just contact to NI? or Is there any ways, helpful links or summit forms to licensing my library?
thanks.

You can release it as a Kontakt Player library, in this case you must contact NI and pay them the licencing fee for Kontakt Player engine.
If you don't want to release it as a Kontakt Player library (Kontakt Player will still be able to load your library, but only for 15 minutes at a time, then sound goes mute), you can release it normally as a digital download, for example. No licencing fee needs to be paid and you don't have to contact NI.

Does it use scripting? If not, PLEASE seriously consider including an SFZ version (even if you are just running it through Chickensys Translator to make the conversion... There are not enough SFZ guitar libraries....
What are you considering as far as cost? What can you tell us about the library?

But it will work fine in "Full" Kontakt. It just won't appear as a "library" (no big deal IMO)If you don't want to release it as a Kontakt Player library (Kontakt Player will still be able to load your library, but only for 15 minutes at a time, then sound goes mute),

That's assuming that your customers already have Kontakt or are willing to purchase it in order to use your library (some might not be).jbraner wrote:But it will work fine in "Full" Kontakt. Depends on library size, the number of licences/serial keys you want to purchase, and some other factors. It's a 4 digit number for starters.
