I write snippets. I cannot seem to write complete songs these days. When I played guitar earlier, we would record our jam sessions and combine snippets into songs sometimes. I might try that.

This is a 80's themed snippet. Please excuse the EQ issues and I have enjoyed listening and commenting in the cafe.

You have a nice idea going on there, nothing wrong with it,I can't hear the ending though, seems to be cut off.
I tend to write short pieces also, you can always come back to them later

this was good. Im curious how did you produce it? It wasnt
so strongly loop based thats why I enjoyed it very much.

Very basic use of FL Studio.

I suppose I simulate being in a studio with a normal set of popular instruments, and I turn on the recorder and make tracks live with my keyboard. I then quantize the tracks for beat corrections and EQ.

I grew up playing in modest rock bands and it's a way to create something the way I understand the process, jamming live. My knowledge of FL Studio is very limited and I concentrate more on trying to get good instrument sounds and less on using the in depth capabilities of the program. More of a musician and less of a producer?

Thanks for asking.

Guys from Aha - hey someone found your bass synth!

80's theme is a very apt description.

Aha! A singer, DX-7, some Linn drums, recorder with a little re-verb, and you have a band in the 80's.
