sometimes crashing as soon as a note is hit, sometimes after changing presets As one door closes, another one opens Creating DAW specific versions of SynthMaster, would maybe same a bit of work for the developer? |

The full installer currently available for OSX is not the updated .151 version. |

sometimes crashing as soon as a note is hit, sometimes after changing presets Which OS? 32 or 64 bit? Could you please double check if you have the latest version? I've been doing my tests mostly with Reaper and no issues so far. and are you running as administrator? I would recommend a clean install first. ---- SynthMaster 2.6 VST/AU/RTAS "The Best Software Instrument of 2012" Award by MusicRadar CM Review: 10/10, Beat Review: 6/6 http://www.synthmaster.com/synthmaster.aspx |

Crashing here in Studio One 2.5
Once when simply switching presets using the toggle at the top of the screen. The other times seemed to be crashes on key releases. I'm on Mountain Lion 10.8.2. EDIT: So the above was using the vst. The AU is crashing pretty quickly in GarageBand as well. Last edited by audientronic on Tue Feb 12, 2013 10:28 am; edited 1 time in total |

Did you receive a warning dialog about folder permissions? This is most probably a permissions issue. If you could send me the crash report I'll promptly resolve the issue. A sure way to crash it every time is to open a new project in Logic, open SynthMaster, select the very first patch ("8 BIT oldschool sqr" in my installation), then play a note from the keyboard. Other patches also seem to crash SM now and then, but not every time. Here's the crashlog: http://www.insomniac-music.com/stuff/synthmaster_crashlog/ |
