Having great fun with sandh.
I would like it if I could detach its action from the LFO and trigger its operation by a MIDI note acting like a gate:
[bypass] ... note_on -> sample/hold [play held audio] ... note_off->[bypass]
so it could be used in a more musically playable fashion.

the original process was made using se modules.. i started to code a new version for this a few weeks ago and quickly realised it was going to take more work than i want to invest atm. so here i've stripped the original down and wrapped it as a synth with stereo audio in..
a gate signal triggers the s&h process (boy that's nasty) and can be retriggered ala 'mono' mode.. releasing the gate switches back to dry. there's a quick mod envelope, i could only coax the circuit to mod in one direction, and it's sluggish at that.
so you're still waiting.. this does the basic functionality requested, crudely.. hopefully not quicksandh for this vst dev :p
