need help with this lead and bass?

Hey guys, so im sorta trying to do my first proper house track, and i know what sorta sounds i want, but i dont know how to get to them.

Im looking for something like the synth in this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWHL8PN0S1Q it startes to come in around 0:45 and doesnt seem to change notes.

For the Lead im looking for this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HIiToenEbAo it is the one that continues to play through 0:30.

Both of these would make a great combination for my song!
