Is there a voice activated midi controller / vsti??

I was thinking it would be sweet to be able to send midi messages (notes) to battery to trigger drum sounds with my voice. If it had some sort of pitch detection I could sort of beatbox but have it trigger actual drum sounds (kick, snare, HH ...).

Is there anything like this around? Will there ever be?
