To get different sounding filters I've used some techniques:
- Add a bandpass with cutoff linked but offseted, and pass it through a saturator (to get the Hi/Lo resonation, add a switch)
- Fill a bit of the audio signal to modulate Filter's Cutoff/Resonance, add a s&h in parallel to get different performance.
- Use feedback generators just like delay lines tuned to the frequency of the filter. You have to get the same "note" in the delay at max feedback that the cutoff generates at Q autooscillation.
- Combine them all...

Thanks man. The hypersaw is another characteristic sound worth emulating. I'd love to develop a simple hypersaw synth, if someone shares raw samples from a TI to analyze. The Chubu wrote:Nice, just i was thinking "I need something with hyper and super saws" and here i am lol Sounds good btw.

Someone has already done the handwork.izonin wrote:Thanks man. The hypersaw is another characteristic sound worth emulating. Easy, dropbox more so.GeorgeZ wrote:... yup, but I just did a mock up short track that doesizonin wrote:Thanks No EQ or filtering used in the audio demo, only delay and a bit of reverb.GeorgeZ wrote:Wow, that's actually very nice sounding mate! I'm surprised at the bass sounds one can get out of it (once attacked with a comp, EQ and a filter )!!

I know that article, but it's about Roland's supersaw. The hypersaw in Virus TI has different harmonics, 9 saws, and an optional square sub.cyberheater wrote: Someone has already done the handwork.

'User is out of bandwidth' is what the download site states. In case you were unaware.
