This started life as an attempt at Trance. Needless to say, I failed. I stripped out all of the instruments and swapped the synth out. The title refers to the history and to the Astralis Orgone CM patch used. Such economy. It took about 5 hours!! to record in August 2009 and about 30 minutes for the EQ/Master in 2011

 Nice work! Sounds like a sound track. Reminds me of the Book Of Eli sound track.

I'm so glad the trance angle didn't work out! :) This is beautiful and somber, and as mentioned above, quite soundtrack-y.

Thanks for listening and commenting. Glad you liked this.

It can be interesting putting chords together using some of these sample-based synths. You can get some interesting effects, but chords can often cause rhythmic mayhem!

Post

You can also get some really harmonically complex-sounding chords, which is great :)

Nice work, I like this one a lot

Thanks for listening. Glad you liked it. Beware! These chords will resurface very soon, but in a different context.

BTW. Did you listen to Decade? This was supposed to be my 80s TD-style follow-up to Fruit No Object.

listened and liked, dunno if I had this one on loop, but I've pleasantly been reading through a site's faq and contract shenanigans with this in the background :) , stuff I normally skip, it somehow made the reading suspenseful and interesting.

Oops, missed that one. Just checked it out - really like the progression on this one, and the tough and smooth sounds combine well. Nice :)
