"angel fear" ambient, with one note that gets squeezed a bit wrong
if it is too bad I shall do it again

Nice sounds FATC. The combination of those synth sounds is pleasant and relaxing. Nice use of the stereo field as well. A warm enveloping track.

Very floaty, Vangelis-y track. Nice, contemplative melody and the sounds mesh together so well. Nearly 7 minutes long, and it still seemed to finish too soon - that's some trick
And I didn't hear any bum note either

Hey thanks Seismic. I used to use Flux Stereo Tool on everything, but it is no good in 64 bit so I deleted it, and haven't found a replacement, although here I tried a Fab Q widening preset.
And thank you mikusan glad you like it.

and polyslax, thanks, nice of you to say. I suppose I should listen to some Vangelis sometime all I can really remember of his is the BladeRunner thingey, although I might have heard much more.
in fact, key noodling is about all I do here, on 3 controllers, with trusty little stone weight helping out.

this was very nice fate... except i'm not sure i like the distant sound of a thousand chickens you tried to blend into it.... that aside, it reminded me alot of the begining of Styx's Mr. Roboto. always loved that song intro....
oh wait... that chicken sound was my neighbor feeding his chickens on his chicken farm next door bleeding into my headphones, scratch that observation....carry on.

well, hope you didn't think it was too bad

E.g. at 1:41 it's peakin out. Everything sounds mellow until this sound peaks out. It might be the sound that plays along all the time and it's opening the filter because of velocity? Again, just a taste thing. Besides of that I really like that tune. Very relaxing.fateamenabletochange wrote:thanks for this chacka...never checked out PPG so not quite sure which sound this is...I mighten like it either ....is it that one that kind of breaks up into graininess ??chacka wrote:..... except that PPGish sound that sticks out to me in a bad way.

A winner. I think this sounds better than the original. More "dreamy".fateamenabletochange wrote:I have added a second version, played it again with no bum note this time, and put Aether on the Master Buss.

thanks for checking this chacka. Yes that is the mopho as controller on Ace with a bit too much velocity with that instance of Ace already being played with another controller [novation SL]. Have to play these type of tunes with a real light touch.chacka wrote: It might be the sound that plays along all the time and it's opening the filter because of velocity?
The lead part is played with the korg ms20 mini,,,when I bought it years ago it seemed kind of ridiculously small, but I have gotten used to it.

thanks very much for checking this out seismic. Sometimes difficult with this kind of improvisation style...think I like the lead in the first one better, the second sounds more 'glued'....so I'm not sure I did any better with the second...sigh ....might try again in a few ,months.seismic1 wrote: I think this sounds better than the original. thanks again for checking this out.
