The Hatrix (ElectroProg - Seismic Reconstruction - Ambient Aberration)

My latest remix, this took 6 hours to record in November 2009 and 3 hours to (slightly)edit/remix/master in November 2011.

My machine died at the end of October and I had a frantic 16 days of reinstalling/regedit/blahblah type stuff. I now have 90% of my old functionality and still have about 10 programs to reinstall. Kore Player has gone forever along with some others. On the other hand, there are programs that would not co-exist on XP SP3 that now seem to be good neighbours/colleagues. This new atmosphere of connubial tolerance may become evident in about 6 months or so.

I am just happy that I managed to retrieve this project at all.

This is all performed on 1 VSTi with a dusting of FX sprinkled over the top.

Not a new direction, just a glimpse through a window.

Nope. Glad you like like this Remmie. I shall reveal all in the next few days (unless somebody else figures it out first). I used the supplied presets and made a few modifications to the kick/snare/hat.

No. Everything here was on the same synth. I haven't really had a good look at Rez 3.0 yet.

This was quite a "quickie" by my standards. It all came together pretty quickly. I think the melancholy vibe comes from the patch that sounds a little like Fripp's guitar playing those long sustained notes.
