For now you could put a channelizer plugin after it.
That would be great, thanks.

Can you recommend a simple channelizer that will work in a 64 bit host (MoS)?
midiChannelize in the pizmidi package:

I updated them to load as effects in MOS, so hopefully it will work.

midiChords 1.0.9 is up:
- Allowed dragging on trigger keyboard to select trigger
- Added "Apply" button for input channel (forces chord to channel)
- Added output channel setting to non-destructively channelize output

I didn't post the changes from midiChords 1.0.8, so here they are:
- Added "Global Functions" button with options to copy current chord to all triggers, transpose all chords, etc.
- "readme.txt" is now included in the info box.
- Can now specify channels with decimals when typing/pasting chords (i.e. "C.1 E.2 G.3").
- Hidden work on guitar neck component

Looking forward to a possible Mac version! I haven't been able to find anything like this for Mac.

Anyone had any luck with ableton live?
Wtb inspiration!

In Live you have to do it kind of like this:

midiChords is on a track by itself, then other tracks can receive MIDI from it.

This isn't quite finished, but here's a picture of the guitar (ukulele) neck view.

If people are interested in this, I can finish it up and release it... For someone who plays mostly fretted stringed instruments and thinks in guitar chords, it's more fun to use this way.

can i play custom scales as well?

The guitar thing is nice, go for it.

I don't know if this already been asked, but is it possible to get the notes below C2 or C1 to go through, without selecting them in the output?

Post

Yes, please, finish the guitar view. I would definitely use it. Thanks!

Oh man, it's been a while since I've visited these forums.

This looks to be an extremely useful tool. (I think I've been using your other tool, midiStep, to replicate this sort of thing) I will consider donating and the payware version. :)

I missed the 1.0.10 update. What are the changes?

Bug fixes with saving chord shapes to the chords menu, and with loading saved chords (it was always adding the trigger note to the chord).
