Here's the original thread, didn't think starting a new one was necessary.
http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=339288&highlig ht= I think I've chased this down to predator and the "gator" setting. It's just bank "03 classic synths 3" and patch 32 "eight sweep" with "gator" added. My specs are reaper 4.14 x64 and win7x64 |

Ok, I just tried something. I put "gator" in the first effects place instead of in the 3rd on that patch and it went away (that icky sound)
So it's predator, any patch and "gator" in the 3 FX position. Simply solution is DON'T put gator in the 3rd FX position  But if I wouldn't have posted this I'd never have found the culprit  |
