Hello! I would like to use Cubase 5 for transcribing music like this:

-1 audio track for the audio file I am transcribing from.
-1 audio track for my guitar, so that I can play along, since I don't have a perfect pitch ability
-1 instrument track for the instrument/score editor I am transcribing to.

Few questions; how do I detect tempo (bpm) of the audio file I'm transcribing from and how do I change the tempo globally so that I can slow things down to hear them better?

Thanks!

The manual with the following topics might help:

- Beat Detection
- tap tempo
- tempo track
- Musical Mode (Time Stretching)

It's written in detail in there.
