I like to use this thing for a totally different purpose. I find when I turn the speed and sensitivity all the way up, and then send my vocals to it, in parallel with the source material, it really brings up the brightness and the consonants that otherwise get lost. Of course, EQing and gating around the plugin become extremely important at extreme settings, but still - to me, that's my main application of this plugin.

And I'd suggest using after eq & compression, basically one of the last items in the chain, since there is the place it can correctly estimate loudness.
