While I am waiting for my PayPal to go through for my purchase of Diva I thought I would say a some words about Diva. Even though I am low on funds after obliterating my savings account over the holidays I bought DIVA for nearly 1 preset- Dream Synths- Beauty Pad. WOW!!!! This patch (and the rest of DIVA) is sooooo very rich sounding. Ya, the last time I sat in front of a true analog synth was over 20 years ago, but DIVA has to be the most analog-ish sounding VST I have heard to date. Boy, though, when I use the "divine" setting my CPU is pushed to the brink.....and I have one of the most powerful consumer CPU's that you can buy....oy vey! Anyway, there is always draft mode until I can bounce in divine mode.
Good job U-he, I cannot wait to see how this synth develops over time. Now why is my PayPal order taking so long......arg! Hehehe, actually... my wife is. I'll just throw a bunch of t-shirts and shorts on top of her 2 suitcase loads. Provided I find that space. No worries with the order though - it's automated and there's always someone watching the helpdesk |

I bought it too.
I was never been a synth guy, although im a keyboarder, maybe i'm too lazy to learn how to build my sound correctly. But then i heard diva, bought it straight away, and my oh my, i never had so much fun with a synth, hardware or software. This thing is really inspiring, those are the most musical presets i ever had in a software! Or maybe its just because of the ridiculous sound of Diva. Thumbs up Urs! Thanks to the internet you deserved the hype about this thing. Good luck in NAMM, we can't wait to see your next big thing, although my pocket is already empty after all of the Xmas sales. Oh, i made a track with it. It's my first track of this kind, so pardon me when its too noobish for you guys. BTW, its my first post here, after being a silent reader all the time. I'm not one for presets usually but they're about the best I've heard at showing off the power and lush sound of the synth. Awesome work everyone involved in creating them. I share your joy on Diva too, since I bought it I've only done one track on which it wasn't used. It sure does make my dual-core Macbook Pro sweat though. All the best, have fun with Diva! |

The last thing I really thought I needed was another VA. I never really understood the big deal about analogue, but I figured this is Urs we are talking about. Diva is incredible. I had been on the fence a while back about buying one or two other good sounding but very lightly supported synths. Diva exceeded my expectations.
The sound is brilliant and versatile. Urs is one of the best and friendliest devs out there. I am happy to support him and his work. He is a model in the community. |

i noticed today that Diva received 4 out of 3 stars in a german music mag! i agree 100%!! http://www.u-he.com/cms/ http://www.amazona.de/index.php?page=26&file=2&article_id=38 06 it gets me to thinking - this is one of those occasions like when people first had personal synths or when computers gave us the ability to have a home recording anything..! we now have access to the upper crust of electronic music tools! |
