Great track Neil. Decidedly dark and very atmospheric. I loved those percussion samples. Funny you should mention the Sun. I played this track and immediately clouds obscured it from view. The temperature dropped as well. Weird

Nice work

LOL

Like a trip to the bazaar... fantastic chunky grooves and thick atmosphere. Intriguing piece and a wonderful listen, thanks Neil.

...Can't fault your ambition :D

Superb track, those percussion samples really motorize the groove :D

Lovely track. Makes me think of Demdike Stare in places. Proper brooding grooves. I do think the drums sound a bit lonely in the first stretch (maybe they need some corrosion to bed them into the track a little more in this stretch, if I'm being Mr Wannabe Engineer), but once they kick back in with the percussion underneath in the second half, everything really clicks into place, everything sits perfectly, and this becomes a proper low-key stormer. Nice work!

thank you all for listening

@cron - you may well be right about those drums. i think a little parallel processing may have worked there.

nice to see someone mention Demdike Stare :tu:
