He made a whole bunch of tapes of all kinds of classical music for my mother from vinyl he owned and below is one insert for a tape which shows how much time he put into it. A month ago my mom gave me this basket full of these tapes "if I wanted them". Well of course I did, I can listen to the music and feel close to this great man...but that's not enough, first he put them on 120 minute tapes so they need protecting. I scored a late 80s Denon Cassette deck from ebay in perfect shape for 16.05 usd so I'm slowly recording them into my DAW (no rush) and remastering them while getting rid of clicks and pops. It's a fun exercise, I did the one with the insert below today and yesterday (yesterday I recorded it). I figured going with a similar age and technology deck to what he would of used would be good.
I figure I might learn a thing or two along the way

btw this is not for my mother, she would not be able at this point to appreciate the audio...her ears are getting tired, but I know she loves the fact I am doing this because she knows how much he meant to me.
