help with fxpansion bfd2 installer!!

Hi guys

i have purchased bfd2 from fxpansion but everytime i try to install it, WHILE it is installing, a message appears in the installing fxpansion box ( while it is installing the audio data)...this is a message that appears while installing the bfd2 audio data

"CRC failed in BFD2 data installer\ ...other paths

after that, when it is finished, when i launch bfd2 on cubase , it tells me "No, it does not seem to be BFD2 audio data etc etc...and so on

so i cant hear anything?


what is the problem?

Giusmex - did you purchase the download version? If so, a crc error indicates a corrupt download - can you please try downloading again?

i purchased the download version; i am trying to download it again, but it is the THIRD time;

why are the files corrupted?

and..another thing... when i begin the installation , at the very first stages of installation, the field about where to put the bfd2 audio data tells me "PLEASE DONT JUST CLICK NEXT" or something similar; this happens now, but i remembe rthat in a previous attempt of installation, it gave me a default path in this field; i also noticed that, since this thing happens, when i end the installation ( after setting a path in that field), and i launch cubase and open an instance of bfd2, a error message appears in cubase that says that "THIS DOES NOT SEEM TO BE A BFD FOLDER:." and so on, so that i can not use it anyway

please mm fx help me

so ill have to stay here, with a regularly purchased product, with a corrupted file that i dont know why it is corrupted, and without my instrument

Dude it's Sunday, be patient. You're getting support from an FXpansions rep, and not only is it Sunday but you're not on their own website either. There's usually a process involved in resolving an issue and you're not really following it.

Giusmex - yesterday was Saturday which is still the weekend.. we do often offer support at the weekends but we have to chill out sometimes, is that not reasonable to expect?

The reason for corruptions could be all manner of things - flaky internet connection, Amazon S3 host server flaking out, etc. I've PM'd you with mirror file locations - please can you try those and see if the situation is any better?

first of all,

i apologize for my behaviout of yesterday...i was a bit nervous for other things..you guys are so helpful and efficient really..


anyway, i downloaded the regular version ( still not the mirror version by mmfx..eventually ill try it later) and everything looed fine , but in the very last part of the installation ( the proper installation, after that the installation program had already unpacked all of the files)the installation program crashes and stays freezed at about 90% pf the installation progress( it happened 4 times, i also let it "work" for all of the last night..this morning whwn i woke uo it was still freezed )


any ideas ?
