The Ingain is really small, I'm trying it out with a volume plugin before it.
The outgain goes to +12? Isn't that way into clipping range?

Hi RunBeerRun, great to hear from you.RunBeerRun wrote:The Ingain is really small, I'm trying it out with a volume plugin before it.

When the InGain is at center position that's you input signal gain.
I just added minus/plus 12 for anyone who needs to adjust the input gain.
Leave it at zero is you original input signal.
Same goes for the OutGain slider.
Normaly a plugin like this not need a input adjuster, it's just there for tweaking if needed.
I calibrated the input, so when you leave it on zero it should be the same as you inputmix.
Note, it's a beta version, any suggestions are welcome, please test it!

Nothing wrong, this means that you mix just not peaks.RunBeerRun wrote:The Ingain is really small, I'm trying it out with a volume plugin before it.
Or what you feed into SafeLimit is at a very low signal, that never reach 0 dB.
SafeLimit should be inserted as the last chain in you masterbuss.
It's a limiter (not compressor) that's tames your peaks an a very muscical way.

Thank you! I will test it if I have the time...
BTW, what I also like about your plugins, is the GUI - tidied up, simple and good readable - without curlicues and much colors...looks kinda scientific, but I mean that in a positive way...

But in a perfect world, I do wish you might reconsider the typeface you have used for the words "Safe Limit" in any future release, to one a little more... scientific? Doesn't fit with the rest of the interface, IMHO.
But of course, the sound is the real science here, just mentioning in the spirit of great GUIs. :)
All the best!

Should be some nice limited font without peaks...TerryW wrote:Thanks guys, any suggestions for a Font that should fit?SciFiArtMan wrote:So true!Tricky-Loops wrote:...BTW, what I also like about your plugins, is the GUI - tidied up, simple and good readable - without curlicues and much colors...looks kinda scientific, but I mean that in a positive way...

Whatever appeals to you, I just find the typeface there now clashes with the more tech feel of the rest of the GUI. Maybe SF Electrotome, SF Quartzite, SF Willamette, SF Theramin Gothic, or SF Port McKenzie - all free by ShyFonts and most found on this page:TerryW wrote:Thanks guys, any suggestions for a Font that should fit?

Many other interesting choices by this maker on related pages on same site.
Hope this helps, and thanks again for all your fine plugins!

I would vote for SF Willamette, because it appears to be scientific as well as limited.SciFiArtMan wrote:Whatever appeals to you, I just find the typeface there now clashes with the more tech feel of the rest of the GUI.
