After a small research evoked by the growing number of "waveforms" topics, we concluded that here at KVR people are highly aware that the single-cycle waveforms had become a very important link in the overall music production.

The above fact, along with the other important ones, including:

- a growing number of synths and effects that use this technology,
- all the better implementation of anti-aliasing algorithms,
- reduced CPU load,
- the infinite variety of sounds, and
- the vast possibilities of application,

are all factors that we think will rapidly shape the future of digital sound.

At Real Waveforms we decided to respond to these future demands, and to provide you the most creative and innovative single-cycle waveforms.
Our waveforms are the result of a fine craftsmanship, carved in years of sound production. And they are definitely - different!

On our website you will find all necessary information, so please make a visit.
You can also download our RW Demo Bank there.

We hope you will express positive attitude about this project.
And of course, we are looking forward to hear you!

I tried the demo bank and all of them sounded the same.

Hi, Real Waveforms.

Please don't spam the forums. That'll get you banned. One introductory thread should do it. I've left this one and deleted the others.
No longer a moderator.

Uuuups, sorry, won't happen again. We just thought to post in different forums, but this one is the most frequent one, so thanks!

Okay but I think getting those results in Corona and Discovery Pro won't gather much interest between our customers.

Maybe it is a little bit early to predict the results ;)
Anyway, the random choice for a demo bank maybe wasn't that good, but nevertheless we think that you can hear a lot of what you can expect with the full library.
In slight differences and variations lies the charm of single-cycle waveforms. As the production goes on, slight differences are becoming more and more obvious and hearable.

Maybe you can listen to demo waveforms again more closely?
Maybe that was just a first / fast impression?
Anyway, thanks for your notes.

You know, after the endless investment of time, they all sound the same to us :hihi:

"Different" means that they're not just a sequencies of math formulas, up to zillion waveforms. They're non-standard: sometimes are hand-made, sometimes waveshaped, sometimes modulated, processed, filtered or non filtered, with harmonics modification or leveling, etc. Their final shape is mostly quite unique, and very hard to mimic or construct.
But they can have certain similarites among themselfs, that is true.

Just try yourself, place them in /waves/user.dwb folder and load. No audible difference.

Sorry, "/waves/user.dwb folder and load"?
Can you try to open the demo bank in any audio editor, please. Listen it looped.
Maybe the demo format is not adequate for your synth (192KHz/32-bit IEEE float/Mono)?

Yes, maybe that's the culprit. You should consider delivering them in several rates/bit-depths.

I will do the conversion to 16-bit 44.1Khz by myself and will report you back.
