Hi There,

Thanks so much for your kind words and thanks for checking these out!

Regarding NICE EQ, how long ago did you test them?
They really don't detract from the lows, so you may need an updated version.
You can email me and I can make sure that you are up to date.

Thanks again for checking out Vintage Tube Collection and Tube Booster!

God Bless You,
Michael

Being a proud owner of your N-TEN-AT4 (and I've also demoed your free Revox which is really nice) I must say that all the stuff you guys have done so far really kick ass.

The price is good for what you get, so big thumbs up. The plugs sound wicked, as good as it gets. Highly recommended.

Having said that, I think your NiceEQ (demo) takes way too much bottom end off, by just putting it on and doing nothing. Didn't like it on anything except vocals where it really shines.

Michael,
Maybe I'm dense but I can't see how to DL the Tube Booster. The Vintage Tube collection was easy enough. Oh, and thanks for these!

The VTC is great and I use it with Nebula daily. What are the benefits for me spending more money on this?

Thanks,

Hi 'b4',

There is a free demo for VTC in all formats.
There is no demo for Tube Booster, as it is all based around a single program, and I don't want to give a reduced quality or function of it. If you like the sound, though, you will definitely like the plug-in! :-) If you have any concerns on functionality, the VTC demo will let you test it with your system- they both will work if one does.

Hi faun,

The benefit is the GUI, which was a lot of hard work, but it's also edited to work smoothest for the widest range of the average modern computer specifically for preamp tube programs that have a lot of distortion kernels. Since Neb is a single host engine, it might run a little more efficient for some progs over others, but the stand-alone has one tuning specific to its use of cpu, and that can be tuned to each machine if needed, without affecting any other types of progs.

But yeah, the main reason is bc we had a blast designing a real looking piece of hardware from scratch that uses the warmth glow of the tube as a VU meter- I mean how cool is that? :-)

Thanks for writing and I'm so glad you enjoy the VTC for Neb.
And the final reason is that if you own it for Neb, the price is teeny tiny to add the gui's if interested.
