Anyone know exactly what space designer impulse was used in this mix?
What a difference, when he takes it off.I'm looking for a cubase pc alternative.
This technique is great for working with samples off all kinds.
Thanks, Bill
P.S. Algarithmic reverb suggestions are welcome too.I have Vroom, and I'm demoing the 2caudio stuff.

I've read good thing about uad 224 and EMT 250. Unfortunatly, they won't work on my uad-1's. Invisible reverb is the key.

In the video, it is mentioned that they use Logic's internal Space Designer. An alternative in Cubase would be Reverene with one of the included halls.

Algo wise, if you want to create your own halls, QuikQuak RaySpace - but it wasn't updated in a while.

Else, use whatever is available on the market.

Thanks compyfox, I have not found a reverance equivalent.

Space Designer is also cooking with water only (speak: it's also "just" an IR reverb). So I guess they used a large chamber or hall and slightly modified it (with EQ or even compression).

Reverence has a handful of great orchestra halls (Vienna and German ones especially) that you can mess around with. Maybe add some more pre-delay, or a standard delay post Reverence.

Can't help you more on this - it's trial and error. Unless you find a great IR of a hall or chamber that you like, then run it through LiquidSonics Reverberate for even more modulation capabilities.

Thanks again Compyfox, I know Space Designer, is an IR reverb. I was hoping
someone knew what impulse was used.Hopefully, I can find a non Space Designer
impulse that could achieve the same thing. that impulse doesn't sound like a hall, or even a chamber to me.It really does wonders for those samples.
Project files for this video are available, if you own the special edition.
I'm thinking of getting it.
