Affordable MIC suggestion :) Samson R10S?

I'm working on recording my first ep of dance/synthpop music. I considered buying the Samson Dynamic Versatility Karaoke Mic R10S.

I am not looking for an incredibly expensive microphone, obviously, just something that I can easily plug into my laptop's microphone hole or usb drive and record whatever is my heart's desire, lol.

I'm wondering if anyone has used this Mic for their in-home studio projects and if they've enjoyed it. I'm looking to spend between $20 and $40

I'm almost certain that it's crap. That said, I really can't recommend a new mic in that price range except for this

I have one that I use mostly for recording meetings and skype, but I've used it with asio4all and reaper for quickie recordings and it sounds fairly decent.

They can be had for under $40 new, but you'll have to work a bit. Amazon has them for $69, but you don't have to pay that much.
