Hi,
I've downloaded some vst's to test out and the ones I'm having most trouble with is Steinberg's Dark Planet, and two hypnotik. It's something with the presets. As a new user, is this company dependable for products? I've been reading on their forums and it seems like their are some issues with their daw and audio interfaces? I'm not sure whether, I should stay away from them. My production buddy told me to use Native Instruments products over Steinberg. Is this true? Anyway, I can't post on their forum because I don't own any of their products. Thanks for any help.

Steinberg is like the IBM of the plugin world I guess.
I would say they are very worthy ot trust. But uses like most companies Copy Protection, which means you need to install their elicenser or a physcial dongle to be able to user their products.
I dont' know the details about the demo you have problems with, but could be that presets are restricted in the demo version?

I had wanted to try out Padshop Pro's demo, but I wasn't able to make it work for some reason. Luckily, I discovered PsyGEN by M-RGT and my granular needs were satisfied (for half the $)!
