Chocolate EP VSTi

Hi everyone.
I have a VSTi created with the Maize Sampler, but I seem to be having some issues with people being able to use it in certain DAWs and on MAC. Could someone please tell me if they have had the same problem and if there is a way to fix this. I exported in all the file formats...PC, Mac and AU. Please download the trial and let me know what system and DAW you are using. Please let me know if it works for you or if it doesn't. I'm mainly curious about Pro Tools and Cubase:

If you were giving this away free I would say thanks dude, did you make the samples? and I hope you sort the problems out, cause it's ok. I seemed to have an issue with Reverb- Velocity when I first opened it in FL9 on XP, but I have been unable to replicate that since closing and re-opening FL9.
As you are selling it there are three things I'll say;
1/. Only put it up for sale when it is virtually bug free, but by all means offer the trial.
2/. Offer a pc or mac download seperately, I hate having to download both in one package.
3/. McAfee security doesn't like linkbucks, perhaps look into that.
And I feel this thread slightly undermines your other 'sell on site' thread.

I opened it several times in FL for another look, and the problem I had before isn't there. No matter what settings I adjust, I can't replicate the problem. It appears to be running ok now, so sorry for the gun and I'll edit my first post.

No problem at all. I believe you. Things happen when new files are loaded...lol But I still appreciate your honest opinion

I have one product made with Maize Sampler (v2) and it seems to be rock-solid stable. However, due to its OVER simplicity, I will not be using Maize Sampler again.

Really? Well, I kind of felt the same way, but I was relatively new to making VSTi. What product would you recommend that has the simplicity in use as Maize, but more advanced in a way that allows better visual editing and the ability to work on all DAW platforms? I'm mainly a composer/producer, but I'm also interested in creating custom VSTi as well. I'm also open to working with people. I wasn't trying to be greedy or anything with the share amount. I'm truly learning as I go.Karmacomposer wrote:I have one product made with Maize Sampler (v2) and it seems to be rock-solid stable. Nothing unless you have the $$$ to license Muon's synth engine or NI Kontakt (cross platform). Also, you could license Wusik (www.wusikstation.com) - sort of cross platform - and WilliamK is pleasant to deal with.MusicManDre wrote:Really? Synthedit and Synthmaker require some knowledge, but they are your next best solution - windows only though.
Outside of programming in C++ or Delphi, that's about it.
Like you, I was super excited over the possibilities of the Maize Sampler engine, but then it just kind of fizzled out. Yes, you can create your own GUIs, but since it is so featureless (no real effects, no arp or trance gate, no LFO or filters or oscillators of any kind, etc), there really is no reason to create a large synth gui for it. I just gave up on it.

Maizesampler is basicly quite nice for a job as simple sample player. But well only if it should be only really simple.
But the OS compability is quite unclear i think, the previously version worked on MacOS 10.5, but not on 10.6, the current/new version works on 10.6 but not and 10.5 and so on....
Best is maybe, Kontakt, just buy a matching script or hire a script writer and it's done. No OS compability problems, and the most user's uses Kontakt as sampler.
