i watched this video of Black Beatles and he said it's just an arp, should be a preset in the library, do you know which vst this is?

the arp plays at 1:26

The VST is DUNE 2 (by Synapse Audio). Don't know which preset.

The instrument in the screenshot is Synapse Audio DUNE 2.

It's preset 064 in the Sequences: Water Games KS
One of my favourite too. All the KS are great.
In the video he seems to run it at a high bpm.

UUps...i was wrong...it is preset 052: Secret Mission KS

Another of my favourite. Indeed Dune 2 has the most awesome playable sequences of any synth.

i still find Dune 2 confusing with the arps/sequencer/midi settings, many presets get played by hitting a note even when ALL OSCs volume knobs are turned down... ?!?!

Mostly in this cases there is modulation going on. I love Dune 2 and it is maybe the most organic (others would say analog maybe) sounding synth with a lot modern stuff added. Some synths are better in a special area but Dune 2 is the thing which rules them all for me when it comes to very complex sounding patches with extreme modulations (only a modular could beat that maybe).
What set it also apart is that it do audio rate modulation and the FX are top notch too.
I also like that the LFO´s goes from very very slow 0.004 to a nice 250Hz. If you need more you can use MSEG´s or an OSC as modulation source. Also the pitch bend range and other stuff is great.
The thing i don´t like is the fixed GUI size and what you seems to find a bit confusing....no visual feedback of modulations. There is often a ton of modulations going on but you won´t see that on the main page.
For me visual feedback and a nice GUI is as much important as the sound and it was a reason i sold Dune 2 once....but i missed it so hard and i bought it again

Never will miss it again.
