I just installed Mac OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) on my MacBook Pro, and now I can't get Synth1 to be seen by Ableton Live v8.4 (64-bit).

Every other plugin works, both VST and AU, but for some reason Synth1 doesn't show up in the list. It works in Reaper, but not in Live.

Any ideas? I really want Synth1 back, thanks!

I found out what causes this - it's the fact that Synth1 and I guess many other plugins too (SampleTank 2/KingTubby/Cheeze Machine etc.) are 32-bit and do not run in 64-bit mode.

I installed 32-bit Ableton Live 8.4, and now it works.

Synth1 not showing up in Ableton Live on Mountain Lion - any ideas?
