All I see is a bunch of lines of code when I click on the bank link.

Post

Try using 'save link as'

Post

Thanks; is this correct?
ChromaTones 2 SW.Chromaphone 2 Bank.Chromaphone 2 Bank.Chromaphone 2 Bank

It might be good if you put author name as part of filename?

Author initials already are

should just be 'ChromaTones 2 SW.chromaphone 2 bank'

Thanks, I thought SW stood for something else.

I can't get Chromaphone to load these... I'm on mac. If I save the linked file, it gets a .txt suffix. I tried deleting the suffix, but if I open chromaphone, go 'load' and navigate to the file, both options are greyed out. Any ideas?

Sounds like some browsers just suck at parsing this sort of file so I've zipped it up

Is it working now?

For me, no. I unzipped it. Though it has no other suffix, it is described as a textedit document in the finder. I'm using MainStage, from there with Chromaphone 2 loaded I went to 'load', from the drop down menu at the top, which is maybe a mainstage specific thing? By default it says 'manual', and when clicked has options such as "next, previous, copy, load, save as" etc... after selecting load I navigated to my downloads folder but the file was greyed out. I dropped it into the default location but still no luck. I wouldn't stress out about it for my benefit... Is this maybe an apple logic/mainstage thing that is different somehow? Or maybe I'm doing it wrong...

I think you are, it needs to go in the Cr2 banks folder. Easiest way to locate that is to open Cr2 and click on the 'Manage' button above the banks dropdown, then at the bottom of that window there's a 'Show files' button that opens Finder. Put the unzipped bank in there and it should show in the dropdown.

Just a quick and dirty run through of the latest 20 or so patches, many of them variations on a bowed string and hybrid theme
